We've posted steering wheels, shifters, contents of our front right pocket, now we should post our signal stalk. I'll go first

its a signal stalk from a 2000 mercury mountaineer.

Don't panic. On the left side of the wheel there's a stalk. It's like the wiper stalk only it clicks up and down. This is called a 'turn signal stalk' and you use it to activate turn signals. Don't worry about what those are.

the front one is the turn signal and the back one is for.... you guessed it

the headlights

you twist it once for parking lights

twice for headlights and you push down for highbeams

and you can push it in for flash to pass

And I thought my Citroën was bad – the indicator stalk had two twist rings for headlamps and fog lights, and the horn switch was on the end of it, but at least it was all on one stalk!

you can see it all the way to the left.

It can handle left and right turns

thats it.

mine does the winshield wipers, and supposedly the wiper washer fluid, but I cant get it to work.
